How refunds and cancellations work at MICOTHA.
About MICOTHA's services
MICOTHA provides managed AI services (such as an AI Receptionist, an AI Website Assistant, AI Reputation management, and business automation) to businesses on a monthly subscription, together with an optional one-time setup fee that covers onboarding and building your service. We do not sell physical goods, and we do not buy or sell leads or personal data.
Monthly service fees
Monthly fees are billed in advance for each month of service. Because your service runs for you throughout the month, monthly fees are non-refundable once that month of service has started. You may cancel at any time with 30 days' notice; your service continues through the notice period, and you are not billed for any cycle after it.
Setup fee
The one-time setup fee covers onboarding and building your service. It is non-refundable once onboarding or build work has begun. If you cancel before any work has started, the setup fee is fully refundable.
Pass-through usage costs
Third-party running costs (for example AI, telephony, and advertising) are passed through at supplier cost, within a spend cap you control. Usage costs already incurred are non-refundable, as they are real supplier charges.
If something goes wrong
If we do not deliver the service we agreed, please contact us at hello@micotha.com and we will put it right or agree a fair resolution. Goodwill refunds are considered case by case.
Failed payments
If a payment fails, your service is paused (you are not charged), and it resumes in full the moment payment succeeds. Your data and automations are kept for 30 days so you can resume or export them.
How refunds are made
Approved refunds are returned to your original payment method within 7 to 14 working days, depending on your bank. Refunds are made net of any non-refundable payment-processing charges, and never exceed the original amount paid.
